Sailed with about 729 refugees including 501 by train from Poland and 158 Romanians. Three weeks later took on the passengers from Frossoula (No. 37), marooned in Lebanon on 29 Aug. The first day of the war she ran up on Tel Aviv beach after being fired upon by police boats. 2 refugees were killed. Passengers taken to Sarafand.
