Departed from Romania before the war began, refugees mostly from Poland or Czechoslovakia. Refugees came down the Danube 3 Jul in steamers Erszebet Kiralnye and Car Dusan. Stopped by British and boarded at sea, after passive resistance. Sailed into Haifa harbor, refugees detained at Sarafand.
